Sarah brings an uncommon background to psychiatric care. Before nursing, she spent nearly a decade as an award-winning journalist, a career that gave her the ability to talk to anyone about anything with ease. She then completed an accelerated nursing degree and built her clinical foundation in surgical and trauma ICUs, hospice care, and the Columbus VA, where she also trained in dual-diagnosis treatment.

She completed her nurse practitioner master’s degree at Walsh University and is ANCC board-certified in Psychiatric Mental Health. She is licensed in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Washington, and Massachusetts, making her accessible to college students and patients who travel for work.

Sarah’s approach is warm, honest, and practical. She uses her years of interviewing experience to make conversation feel natural, and at most sessions she provides brief, focused interventions to address problems quickly. She takes patient education seriously, making sure you understand your diagnosis and your options before any decisions are made.
